Coloring Eggs

I just read a book recently (well, listened more like it. I LOVE book on CDs!) It's called The Giver by Lois Lowery. In the story, a boy sees colors for the very first time and was very intrigued but mystified. Coloring eggs reminded me of that story. It makes me laugh to know how coloring eggs makes Frank and Alice get so excited! They talked about it all week, even though the event really takes about 15 minutes. I guess, there is just something magical about turning something white into something colorful. Although, if you ask Frank, he will tell you his favorite color is white, so technically he shouldn't like coloring the eggs. We tried a new "tie dyed" version this year, and I have to say, they are pretty groovy :) I can't wait for them to find the eggs tomorrow, it should be a blast. Until next time...
